Dinadona Preparatory School is a private Day and Boarding School with Daycare services fully registered by the Ministry of Education and Sports. Registration number PPS/D/2(B). The day school is located opposite The royal Kasubi Tombs while the Boarding section is on Gombe hill, Wakiso Town Council. Mr.and Mrs. Mugarura own the Schools and the two are seasoned teachers with over 25 years of teaching experience in Primary Schools in Kampala.

History

Dinadona Preparatory School was established in1992. The school started off in rented premises opposite Kasubi tombs. Dinadona Preparatory School was received very well and by the end of 1993, they had a population of 72 pupils. Whereas the school’s initial interest was to run a Kindergarten, they were overwhelmed by requests by parents to open a primary section which they obliged and have never regretted. By 1996, Dinadona Preparatory School had established itself as a darling of many parents. They had also made good progress by buying the premises where they operated from. Dinadona Preparatory School currently covers nearly 2 acres of land and they hope to continue investing in making the learning environment more appropriate.
